Senior Technical Analyst (Networks)
Salary: Up To £57,852
Location: Cardiff (hybrid)

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who wants to work within a dynamic team of highly technical analysts on a wide range of Wide Area (WAN & SD-WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) and Cloud technologies.

What the Senior Technical Analyst will be doing
Working with Senior Technical Analysts and Technical Architects to guarantee that the deployment of new and existing technologies meets design specifications, business needs, ITS strategy, standards, and security policies.
Managing both internal and external ICT partners to ensure that new technologies are integrated seamlessly into existing services and infrastructure and are implemented on schedule.
Ensuring that new technologies are supported by an appropriate maintenance and support model for effective ongoing management.
Maintaining security updates and system patches for all network service systems under your responsibility to protect against vulnerabilities.
Ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of all technologies within your area of expertise

What the Senior Technical Analyst will bring to the team
Experience working with a large network environment
Experience in designing, implementing, or supporting Microsoft Azure Networking solutions
Experience of working in a 3rd level support environment (at least 2 years’ experience)
Good knowledge and understanding of ITIL management protocols and procedures

Technical Background
Cisco switching and routing.
MPLS, SD-WAN, fibre-based Ethernet, ADSL, 4G, and satellite
Cisco Security Appliances (ASAs)
Palo Alto Firewalls
Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points
Cisco ISE
Solarwinds/PRTG monitoring tools.
Zscaler
Azure Networking
