Job Description - Senior Technical Sales Engineer

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our ambitious team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who combines deep technical expertise with a strong passion for sales and leadership. Your mission will be to lead our technical sales efforts, engage with key clients, understand their complex technical requirements, and demonstrate how Staq's BaaS and embedded finance solutions can solve their challenges and propel their growth.

Responsibilities:
Lead technical sales strategies and activities to achieve company sales targets.
Engage with key clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Staq's platform capabilities to executive-level audiences.
Mentor and support junior technical sales staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process, ensuring a smooth client onboarding experience.
Stay abreast of industry trends and product updates to serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients and the sales team.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and case studies that highlight the value of our solutions.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Staq's offerings.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the fintech, banking, or SaaS sectors, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex technical features into clear business benefits.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a flair for engaging and persuading executive-level decision-makers.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Highly collaborative team player with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
