SENIOR TECHNICIAN – IPSWICH

£35,000 – £39,000 BASIC + £8,000 OTE

We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Technician to join an established and busy automotive dealership in Ipswich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician looking to take the next step, with a strong basic salary of up to £39,000 plus an additional £8,000 earning potential.

The Role

As a Senior Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles, while supporting the wider workshop team.

You’ll be expected to work to a high standard, diagnose faults accurately and help maintain excellent workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

* Completing complex repairs to a high standard

* Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks

* Supporting less experienced Technicians where required

* Maintaining accurate records of work completed

* Working efficiently to meet workshop targets

* Following all health & safety and manufacturer standards

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Senior Technician

* Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Professional approach and strong work ethic

* Relevant automotive qualifications

* Full UK driving licence
