Job Description - Senior Telesales Executive

Senior Telesales Executive

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £35,000 per annum - (estimated OTE £42,000) 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday

The Role

To drive revenue growth through proactive, targeted outbound sales activity, securing commercial contracts and building a sustainable pipeline of business opportunities. The role focuses on engaging new B2B customers, understanding client needs, and converting opportunities into commercially valuable, long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within defined sectors and customer groups
  • Generate, manage, and convert a qualified sales pipeline, focusing on higher-value opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
  • Build compelling, customer-focused value propositions that align with business needs
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within agreed frameworks
  • Deliver against individual revenue targets and growth objectives
  • Use CRM systems effectively to track pipeline, forecast performance, and drive insight-led activity
  • Develop strong relationships with prospective customers to build trust and credibility
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services
  • Work collaboratively with Operations and Customer teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing market insight, customer feedback, and sales performance trends

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand and shape customer needs
  • Advanced influencing, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with business customers
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify value and margin opportunities
  • Excellent objection handling and resilience in a target-driven environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a sales pipeline effectively
  • High level of personal organisation, discipline, and accountability
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and pipeline management
  • Knowledge of commercial pricing, margin, and value-based selling
  • Awareness of market dynamics and competitor positioning
  • Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting
  • Proven experience in outbound B2B sales within a commercial environment
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and closing deals end-to-end
  • Experience selling services or contract-based solutions
  • Experience handling higher-value or more complex sales conversations
  • Experience working in a target-driven, performance-focused environment
