We're partnering with one of the UK's leading system integrators to recruit a Senior Tender Engineer specialising in Protection & Control systems within the transmission and distribution sector.

Role Overview:
You'll be joining a technical team driving critical infrastructure projects across energy, water and renewables sectors. Working remotely, you'll architect technical solutions while bridging the gap between sales teams and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed P&C system architectures for major infrastructure projects
- Create comprehensive technical proposals and tender responses
- Complete pre-qualification documentation and cost estimates
- Conduct site surveys at transmission and distribution facilities
- Manage relationships with technology providers and stakeholders
- Support commercial teams with technical expertise

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' hands-on Protection & Control engineering experience
- In-depth knowledge of transmission and distribution standards
- Proven track record in technical proposal development
- Strong commercial awareness and procurement experience
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects

Technical Environment:
- Protection relay systems
- SCADA and control systems
- IEC 61850 protocols
- Network architectures
- Substation automation systems
