## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Technologies International Ltd\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Hardware Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nTest Development (TD) Senior Engineer:\n\nThe Senior Test Development Engineer is responsible for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and production test development of Qualcomm IPs, ensuring readiness for new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.\n\nThis role requires strong hardware and software expertise, hands-on ATE experience, and advanced debugging and analytical skills. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Analog, Digital, Firmware/Software, DFT, Validation (VI), and Systems Engineering to define and execute efficient and high-quality test solutions.\n\nFocus areas include Audio, Power Management Units (PMU), charger, radio, auxiliary system functions and digital. The role expects independent technical ownership and execution with minimal supervision.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\u00b7 Own and deliver production test development for analog and digital IPs across validation and manufacturing.\n\n\u00b7 Contribute to test requirements capture, test planning, and program-level technical reviews.\n\n\u00b7 Design, develop, and support hardware and software test systems on Automatic Test Equipment (UltraFlex ATE).\n\n\u00b7 Develop automation and data analysis solutions to improve test coverage, yield, quality, and test time.\n\n\u00b7 Participate in pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon bring-up, validation, and compliance testing.\n\n\u00b7 Debug complex test and hardware issues, including root-cause analysis and defect investigation.\n\n\u00b7 Drive yield improvement, test time reduction, and continuous test program quality improvements.\n\n\u00b7 Review test programs, scripts, data analysis flows, and hardware designs.\n\n\u00b7 Analyse and present technical data for design, validation, and program-level reviews.\n\n\u00b7 Collaborate proactively with global cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.\n\n\u00b7 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior.\n\nRequired Skills\n\n\u00b7 Strong programming skills in Python and C; experience with Visual Basic or similar ATE scripting languages is a plus.\n\n\u00b7 Solid understanding of analog and digital semiconductor circuits.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with analog and digital audio, PMU, and battery charging IPs.\n\n\u00b7 Working knowledge of Bluetooth radio architectures and test considerations.\n\n\u00b7 Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, audio analysers, signal generators, and spectrum analysers.\n\n\u00b7 Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract clear insights from data.\n\n\u00b7 Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.\n\nRequired Skills\n\n\u00b7 Strong programming skills in Python and C; experience with Visual Basic or similar ATE scripting languages is a plus.\n\n\u00b7 Solid understanding of analog and digital semiconductor circuits.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with analog and digital audio, PMU, and battery charging IPs.\n\n\u00b7 Working knowledge of Bluetooth radio architectures and test considerations.\n\n\u00b7 Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, audio analysers, signal generators, and spectrum analysers.\n\n\u00b7 Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract clear insights from data.\n\n\u00b7 Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional\n\nPreferred Skills\n\n\u00b7 Experience in semiconductor test labs or manufacturing test environments.\n\n\u00b7 Exposure to RTL verification (UVM/OVM, SystemVerilog assertions) or pre-silicon emulation.\n\n\u00b7 Familiarity with revision control and tracking tools such as Perforce, DesignSync, ClearCase/ClearQuest, and Jira.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\u00b7 Master\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 2+ years of industry experience in test development or post-silicon validation.\n\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in relevant engineering discipline with 3+ years in industry experience in test development or post-silicon validation.\n\n*References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
