Job Description - Senior Test Engineer

Are you an experienced R&D Engineer? Have you previously led or managed a team? If so, our client, a leading motorsport and automotive manufacturer, is recruiting for a Senior Test Engineer for their site in Coventry. This role will play a critical role in the development and improvement of the company’s products.

Job Description

Leading a team, ensuring efficient operations and staff development.
Overseeing test planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality, on-time results.
Conducting functionality, performance, and durability testing, collaborating with Engineering and customers for sign-off.
Assisting in designing new test rigs, procedures, and methodologies to meet evolving business and customer needs.
Driving efficiency, cost reduction, and safety while staying updated on industry advancements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience in an R&D role within a relevant field.
Previous experience leading or managing a team.
Understanding of product development processes, including design, testing, and manufacturing.
Good hands-on skills with assembly or fitting type experience
