The Avaloq Tester will be responsible for all test activities throughout the testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts, with a specific focus on digital applications like Web-banking and Mobile-banking. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
Define Test Policy and Test Plan.
Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing.
Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates.
Report progress to management and clients.
Manage client relationships with appropriate communication.
Manage defects and reporting.
Design, update, and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability.
Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness).

Must-Have Skills:
In-depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology.
Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments.
Functional knowledge of Web and Mobile banking.
Experience with Avaloq banking system solution.
Working knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Technical knowledge of web and mobile applications.
Experience of testing in Agile contexts (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing).
ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
