ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a national construction and development company with a growing in-house planning team, delivering high-quality schemes across the residential and mixed-use sectors. With offices throughout the UK and a collaborative, multi-disciplinary structure, their Gloucester office is now looking to appoint an experienced Town Planner to support continued growth and a strong project pipeline.

THE TOWN PLANNER ROLE:
Based in the Gloucester office, you'll play a key role in progressing planning strategies and applications for a variety of residential and mixed-use developments. You'll prepare and submit planning applications, support appeals, coordinate with consultants and internal teams, and liaise with local authorities. You'll also have the opportunity to grow your role, with support for ongoing professional development and exposure to projects across the full development cycle.

TOWN PLANNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• MRTPI qualified

• Experience within a planning consultancy, developer, or local authority

• Sound knowledge of the English planning system and residential-led development

• Excellent communication and report writing skills

• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware

• Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
