Senior Town Planner Cambridge

FutureGen Recruitment is delighted to be working with a
highly regarded planning consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its
Cambridge -based team.

This is a business operating in one of the UK’s most
high -demand planning markets. Their projects include strategic housing
allocations, mixed -use regeneration schemes and residential -led development
connected to Cambridge’s continuing growth and innovation economy.

The consultancy is known for its high standards,
commercially aware advice and ability to navigate complex stakeholder
environments involving local authorities, landowners, universities and major
investors.

The Role

As Senior Town Planner, you will take the lead on key
projects and act as a day -to -day planning advisor for clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading
  residential planning applications through to determination
  
• Drafting
  detailed Planning Statements and planning strategy reports
  
• Managing
  stakeholder engagement and authority negotiations
  
• Representing
  clients at planning committee
  
• Supporting
  Local Plan representations and strategic site promotion
  
• Assisting
  with planning appeals where required
  
• Mentoring
  junior planners and supporting project delivery quality
  

This is a role offering strong autonomy and the opportunity
to work on high -profile, strategically important schemes.

About You

• MRTPI
  qualified or close to achieving chartership
  
• Strong
  experience delivering residential planning schemes
  
• Strategic
  planning and Local Plan experience advantageous
  
• Confident
  communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
  
• Commercially
  minded, with strong project management skills
