Senior Town Planner Norwich

FutureGen Recruitment is delighted to be working with a
respected East Anglian planning consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to
join its Norwich team.

This consultancy advises on a wide range of residential and
mixed -use developments, often involving sensitive heritage settings, rural
edge -of -settlement growth, and strategic land promotion. Their work requires a
planner who can blend technical planning expertise with a practical,
commercially aware approach.

The Role

As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of key projects
and act as a main point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading
  residential planning applications through to determination
  
• Drafting
  detailed Planning Statements and planning strategy reports
  
• Negotiating
  with planning officers and consultees
  
• Representing
  clients at planning committee
  
• Managing
  Local Plan representations and consultation submissions
  
• Supporting
  appeal strategies and evidence preparation
  
• Mentoring
  junior planners and supporting technical development
  

This is a role offering autonomy, strong project variety and
a clear route for progression.

About You

• MRTPI
  qualified or close to achieving chartership
  
• Strong
  experience in residential planning
  
• Experience
  with rural development, heritage constraints or sensitive sites
  advantageous
  
• Confident
  communicator with strong client -facing ability
  
• Commercially
  minded with strong organisational skills
