Senior Town Planner Oxford

leading planning consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its Oxford
team.

This is a business operating in one of the UK’s most
competitive and high -profile planning markets. Their portfolio includes
residential -led developments, complex infill schemes, sensitive heritage
settings, and major regeneration opportunities requiring careful stakeholder
engagement and high -quality planning strategy.

The consultancy is known for its ability to navigate
politically sensitive planning environments, providing clients with clear
advice, risk management and deliverable planning outcomes.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will take responsibility for
managing projects and acting as the day -to -day planning advisor for clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading
  residential planning applications through to determination
  
• Drafting
  detailed Planning Statements and planning strategy reports
  
• Managing
  stakeholder engagement and authority negotiations
  
• Representing
  clients at planning committee
  
• Supporting
  Local Plan representations and consultation responses
  
• Assisting
  with appeal submissions where required
  
• Mentoring
  junior planners and supporting team delivery
  

You will work on a mix of projects ranging from smaller
high -value schemes through to larger strategic residential opportunities.

About You

• MRTPI
  qualified or close to achieving chartership
  
• Strong
  experience delivering residential planning projects
  
• Confident
  communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  
• Strong
  report writing and technical planning ability
  
• Commercially
  aware with a pragmatic, solution -focused mindset
