Senior Town Planner Reading

consultancy in Reading seeking a Senior Town Planner to support a growing
portfolio of residential -led mixed -use schemes across the Thames Valley and
wider South East.

This is a business with a strong reputation for delivering
high -quality planning advice, particularly on complex sites requiring careful
stakeholder management and commercially grounded strategy.

The Role

• Leading
  planning applications through to determination
  
• Drafting
  detailed Planning Statements and supporting planning strategy documents
  
• Negotiating
  with planning officers and consultees
  
• Representing
  clients at planning committee
  
• Supporting
  Local Plan representations and strategic land promotion
  
• Assisting
  with planning appeals where required
  
• Mentoring
  junior planners and supporting team delivery
  

About You

• MRTPI
  qualified or close to achieving chartership
  
• Strong
  experience delivering residential planning schemes
  
• Confident
  communicator with client -facing ability
  
• Strong
  report writing and project management skills
  
• Commercially
  minded and delivery focused
