Senior Town Planner Southampton

FutureGen Recruitment is delighted to be working with a
highly regarded planning consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its
Southampton office.

This is an opportunity to work on high -quality
residential -led mixed -use schemes, waterfront regeneration projects and urban
redevelopment opportunities across the South Coast. The business is known for
being commercially sharp but technically robust, advising clients on planning
strategy, risk management and delivery.

The Role

As a Senior Planner, you will take the lead on key projects
and act as the day -to -day planning advisor to clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading
  planning applications for residential and mixed -use developments
  
• Preparing
  detailed Planning Statements and supporting evidence
  
• Managing
  stakeholder engagement and authority negotiations
  
• Representing
  clients at planning committee
  
• Supporting
  Local Plan representations and promotion of strategic sites
  
• Assisting
  with planning appeals, including written reps and hearings
  
• Mentoring
  junior planners and supporting team development
  

This role offers a strong balance of project delivery and
professional development.

About You

• MRTPI
  qualified or close to achieving chartership
  
• Strong
  experience delivering residential planning applications
  
• Confident
  in client meetings and authority negotiations
  
• Strong
  report writing skills and attention to detail
  
• Commercially
  aware, with the ability to provide pragmatic advice
