Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer- London- On-site- £75,000-£90,000 + bonuses

VIQU have partnered with a leading investment management organisation looking to expand their IT support team. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with a strong IT support engineering skillset, capable of independently supporting the entire trading floor. This person should possess a solid technical background and be proactive and unhesitant in delivering hands-on support.

Job Duties of the Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer:

• Provide end-user technical support for applications, hardware, and workstations
• Ensure minimal downtime through prompt issue identification and resolution
• Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently using a structured tracking system
• Deliver support both in-person and remotely across various locations
• Participate in migration projects, including software and system upgrades
• Support office relocations and infrastructure setup for new or changing environments
• Commit to 5 days on site per week

Requirements of the Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer:

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience in financial services is required
• Must have hands-on experience supporting a trading floor or similar high-pressure environment
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 2011, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365
• Solid experience in hardware support and troubleshooting
• Must have experience supporting Bloomberg Terminal and Refinitiv applications
