About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Travel Agent to join our team and help create exceptional travel experiences for our customers.
As a Senior Travel Agent, you'll use your extensive destination knowledge, industry expertise and excellent customer service skills to plan and book tailor-made holidays, flights, hotels, tours and other travel arrangements. You'll be confident handling complex itineraries, building strong customer relationships and providing expert advice from initial enquiry through to the customer's return home.

Key Responsibilities
Manage travel enquiries from initial consultation through to booking and post-sale support. Design and book bespoke holidays and complex itineraries tailored to individual customer requirements. Provide expert advice on destinations, flights, accommodation, transfers, tours and travel experiences. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Maximise sales opportunities while delivering a genuinely personalised service. Handle amendments, cancellations and unexpected travel issues professionally and efficiently. Keep up to date with destinations, travel trends, products, promotions and industry developments. Work closely with suppliers, hotels, airlines, tour operators and other travel partners. Support and mentor junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and best practice. Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. Ensure all bookings are accurate and comply with company procedures and relevant travel regulations.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Proven experience as a Travel Agent, Travel Consultant or similar role. Strong knowledge of travel destinations, products and booking processes. Experience selling holidays, flights and/or tailor-made travel. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A natural ability to build rapport and understand customers' needs. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. The confidence to handle complex bookings and resolve problems effectively. A positive, professional and proactive approach. The ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team. Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues would be an advantage.
