About the job:

As Senior Truck OEM Liaison Manager – Advanced Electrification (Europe), you will lead strategic engagement with key OEMs and Tier 1 transmission manufacturers across Europe. You will play a vital role in shaping future electrification solutions by identifying early-stage developments and translating market insights into innovation opportunities.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and global teams, influencing customer strategies and supporting the delivery of advanced lubricant technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategy & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Truck OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers (e.g. ZF, Magna, Schaeffler, Bosch, Continental)

• Develop and maintain a robust partner network, from technical experts to senior leadership

• Identify future trends and product development opportunities within electrification

Planning & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate development activities across multiple OEM projects

• Translate customer needs into actionable development strategies

• Collaborate closely with global OEM Liaison, Sales, and Marketing teams

Execution

• Conduct regular customer visits and host technical workshops

• Represent Castrol at industry conferences and events

• Present advanced engineering and technology solutions

Monitoring & Delivery

• Track development achievements and project progress

• Act as focal point for oil development and innovation (OD&I) processes

Leadership & Collaboration

• Align Truck OEM liaison activities with internal development teams

• Lead advanced electrification engagement across the European region

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

• Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience

• Significant experience in the automotive or lubricants industry

• Strong customer-facing and partner management experience

• Solid understanding of transmission technology and tribology

• Experience working cross-functionally in complex, international environments

Mandatory Language Requirement:

• Fluency in German at a professional / negotiation level is essential. This is a mandatory requirement for the role and candidates must be able to confidently operate in German in business and technical discussions.

Desirable:

• Experience in Sales & Marketing

• Exposure to electrification technologies or advanced mobility solutions
