What you will be doing
- Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and design requirements for the design system.
- Documentation - Develop and maintain documentation for the design system, including design principles, guidelines, and component libraries.
- Accessibility - Ensure that the design system is accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across multiple platforms and devices.
- Alignment - Work closely with the UX team to ensure that the design system aligns with the organization's design language and branding.
- Improvement - Continuously evaluate and improve the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Scalability - Implement and maintain a consistent and scalable development process for the design system.
- Mentorship - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Integration - Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate the design system into our products and platforms.
- Culture - Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth.
What we are looking for
- Front-end - Strong experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Design - Experience with design systems, component-based design, and design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
- Toolchain - Proven experience with a modern JS toolchain: e.g. Bun, Turborepo, Typescript, Biome,...
- Code - A passion to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism
- UX - Strong understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and design methodologies.
- Problem-solving - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication - Strong communication skills, ability to self-organise and work well within teams
- Project-Management - Ability to plan and deliver engineering projects
- Creativity - Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Relationships - Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to influence upwards effectively

- 1st Stage - Technical Video call/In-person interview with our Engineers - 60 minutes
- 2nd Stage - Technical Video call/In-person interview with Engineers - Up to 2 hours
- Final Stage - Video call/In-person meet with CTO - 60 minutes
