Senior Underwriter Portfolio

I am hiring a Senior Underwriter to support an extremely successful Underwriting team that write portfolio solutions across broker facilities, consortia, MGA platforms, and can lead algorithmic underwriting. The key requirements needed to be successful in this role will be the ability to analyse portfolios and accounts to drive profitable growth by building strong relationships with brokers and partners. You will shape strategy and best practices by staying ahead of market trends. Candidates will have strong underwriting experience and this can come from a range of different lines of business such as treaty, open market, binders and the class of business is agnostic. In fact, whilst property is the dominant class in the portfolio, a willingness from the client to consider all classes of business makes this role more interesting. The key requirement will be a candidate who has experience of managing portfolios and understands where certain markets such as property are headed.
