Job title: Senior VMware / VCF Infrastructure Engineer

Rate: Up to £650 per day inside IR35
Location: Reading / Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite
Contract: 6-month rolling contract

Active SC Clearances required

I'm recruiting for a Senior VMware / VCF Infrastructure Engineer to join a major UK defence programme supporting a high-profile submarine project.

This is a genuinely interesting infrastructure transformation programme, centred around a significant on-premise to cloud migration, with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX at the heart of the solution. We're looking for someone who can design, implement and migrate enterprise VMware infrastructure and is comfortable working on complex, security-sensitive environments.

Expereince required:

You'll need strong, hands-on experience across:

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) - essential
VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter
NSX / NSX-T
VMware infrastructure design & implementation
On-premise to cloud migration
Infrastructure transformation / SDDC
vSAN, HCX and/or VMware Aria would be highly desirable
