SENIOR WAREHOUSE DAYS AND NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and IT-literate Warehouse Team Leader to join our growing team at Heathrow. This hands-on leadership role focuses on effective team supervision, email and workflow management, task delegation, and ensuring operational excellence across warehouse functions, including X-ray screening and regulatory compliance.

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and allocate tasks effectively.

• Monitor team productivity and quality of work.

• Hold team briefings and provide regular performance feedback.

• Review and respond to internal/external emails promptly.

• Coordinate effectively with logistics, procurement, couriers, and other departments.

• Keep communications organized and flowing to avoid delays or confusion.

• Oversee picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.

• Ensure SOPs and best practices are followed.

• Use AS400/WMS systems for order management and reporting.

• Ensure X-ray screening of goods follows strict security and safety regulations.

• Review screening results and escalate concerns appropriately.

• Maintain accurate documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

• Produce regular performance, inventory, and efficiency reports.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on operational improvements.

• Support staff training, development, and onboarding.

• Enforce H&S protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.

• Ensure compliance with security, GDPR, and safety regulations.

• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics leadership.

• Strong understanding of warehouse flows and inventory systems.

• Proven ability to manage teams and workflows in a fast-paced setting.

• Comfortable using WMS/AS400 and digital tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Confident in managing digital communications and reporting.

• Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4 on 4 off)
  

• Night Shift: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM (4 on 4 off
  

• Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

• Full UK driving license preferred (if role includes off-site coordination).
