Senior Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for Senior Warehouse Operatives to join our brand-new contract with our prestigious customer, The White Company, based out of Rockingham, Corby. Employed on a permanent contract you will be responsible for assisting in leading a team of warehouse operatives acting as the first escalation point and task assignment for the warehouse operatives.

Day to Day

• Allocating tasks across a team of warehouse operatives

• Acting as the first point of escalation for all issues and queries within the warehouse operation

• Working closely with Team Managers to achieve results

• Picking, inspecting and/or packing and recording to customers instructions using either electronic scanners or manual pick sheets.

• Operating in line with Wincanton Health & Safety policies to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.

• Able to work in line with KPI’s.

• Previous experience in a team lead position within a warehouse operation would be advantageous

• Clear communicator who can help to lead a team and get the best results from individuals

• Support the development of colleagues and address under-performance where necessary

• Proactive and flexible in your approach to work
