Job Description - Senior Wealth Management Support Specialist
Senior Wealth Management Support Specialist
Location: London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
About the Role
A well-established wealth management practice is looking to bring on board a senior-level professional who can combine deep technical paraplanning expertise with a genuine ability to lead and develop a team. This is a varied and high-impact position, sitting at the heart of the advisory operation — supporting a sizeable client bank, driving operational standards, and playing a pivotal role in mentoring junior colleagues.
If you thrive in a technically demanding environment, take pride in the quality of your work, and are ready to step into a more senior, leadership-oriented position, this could be an excellent next move.

Analyse provider and product information to produce well-reasoned, compliant financial planning recommendations.
Carry out yield calculations and produce financial analytics to underpin adviser recommendations.
Prepare, review and sign off suitability reports to a consistently high standard, in line with quality benchmarks.
Complete client file reviews thoroughly and efficiently.
Client Meeting Support
Take ownership of pre-meeting preparation, including cashflow modelling, tailored recommendations, and all supporting documentation.
Ensure advisers are fully briefed and equipped ahead of every client review.
Business & Pipeline Management
Keep client revenue data accurate and up to date, flagging trends and opportunities to grow the business pipeline.
Contribute to income forecasting and broader business planning activity.
Client Servicing & Administration
Oversee review scheduling to ensure all clients receive timely annual reviews.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes within the firm's CRM platform.
Produce and issue all post-meeting correspondence, including review letters and action follow-ups.
Compliance & Risk Management
Take a proactive approach to identifying and managing risk across both client files and internal processes.
Work closely with the compliance function to ensure advice quality and regulatory standards are consistently met.
Leadership & Team Development
Take an active role in supervising, coaching and developing junior support staff.
Set high standards for the team and support others in meeting them.
Serve as a key point of contact between the advisory team and senior management.
Play a supporting role in the operational development of advisers within the wider team.

Solid technical grounding across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
Hands-on experience with cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant or FE Analytics
Comfortable working within a CRM environment and confident with MS Office
