Senior/Associate Party Wall Surveyor

A specialist neighbourly matters firm are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join their Party Wall team at Senior/Associate level, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of high profile projects across London and the surrounding areas. As a Party Wall Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering expert advice and managing all aspects of party wall matters under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from residential homeowners to commercial developers, ensuring seamless communication and professional guidance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing detailed advice on party wall procedures and obligations.
• Preparing and serving notices, schedules of condition, and party wall awards.
• Managing disputes and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
• Liaising with property owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Conducting site visits and inspections as required.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Party Wall Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive and client-focused approach to service delivery.
