Role: SEO Account Director Department/Team : SEO & Content
Role Objective
Join the award-winning Mindshare SEO team! We are seeking an SEO Account Director to play an instrumental role with one of our biggest clients in the retail sector . E-commerce SEO experience is essential for this position, along with an interest in the fashion retail sector.
In addition to being top-class in SEO, we are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who can be a leader with the team and to the client.
About the role
The candidate who gets the job will report to the Business Director, manage client teams, and work with other departments. As an Account Director, you'll make sure your clients' strategies are implemented successfully. You will be adept in setting expectations for your clients and managing the team to hit deadlines . You'll lead by example, championing department best practices , pushing yourself, your team, and your client to achieve the best results.
The role would suit someone who is comfortable with technical SEO but has a broad range of experience across the full spectrum of SEO. Any experience working with ASO would also be desirable.

About you
A n e-commerce expert with experience in analysing and growing retail sites. You should have a strong understanding of SEO strategy and project management skills, including experience using project management tools. You'll need to be able to develop and lead client relationships and have exceptional people management skills. Proven experience improving organic performance for clients using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Majestic is essential. Experience with Adobe Analytics is preferable, as is experience working in or alongside Digital PR. You should be able to scope projects for clients with accompanying forecasts to demonstrate the value your strategy can drive. Good commercial acumen is necessary, with the ability to identify opportunities to help clients grow, in turn growing account revenue. You'll support the SEO Partner in improving our proposition, whether that be through developing additional services or improving standards of delivery. Strong process capabilities are required, with an ability to monitor account service levels and support with finance and recruitment processes. Experience working with production teams would be an advantage, as would an understanding of how SEO can integrate with other digital and offline channels.
