SEO Specialist

SEO Specialist Stoke on Trent – Hybrid working arrangements but must be local to the office.
Permanent, full time (35 hours per week Monday – Friday)
Up to £28k dependant on experience

Our client is a leading organisation formed over 20 years ago and provide a range of digital software solutions to a specialist industry sector. Award winning and have a strong market share within their sector. As part of the business model, they also operate a marketing agency specialising in PPC / SEO and digital marketing for their clients.
Due to continued growth and development within their strategic plans they are looking to expand within their marketing team for a SEO Specialist.
The role of the SEO Specialist is such a desirable role and will suit someone who has worked with clients on SEO marketing initiatives and will be an integral part of the team focusing on the day to day management of clients across all digital channels.
The role will report into our Digital Marketing Manager and will play a key part in supporting the retention and growth of the department, aiding to achieve its commercial objectives.

Furthermore, you will foster a collaborative working environment. This includes building strong relationships with clients & collaborating seamlessly with the extended team.

To thrive in this role, you will possess extensive experience digital marketing and SEO. Additionally, you possess an in-depth understanding of the digital landscape, including comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing best practices and the ever-evolving digital world.

Key Duties to include :

This role is hands-on, and you will be responsible for numerous clients across all digital channels, with work as follows:
Working with clients regularly to understand their business & objectives
Build strong, long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact
Understand our client's business priorities and help shape the strategy and delivery within the team
Implementation & overseeing of day-to-day campaign management and maximising client return on investment across all digital channels
Focus on increasing organic visibility of our client websites, through implementing best practices and utilising SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Screaming Frog
Conduct monthly detailed competitor analysis and keyword research to identify opportunities
Proactively up sell to clients to maximise account value
Setting deadlines across the team and ensuring project completion
Report on digital channel performance for the business & client
Seek to actively participate in new business projects
Stay up to date with digital technology trends

In order to be considered for the role of Marketing Executive you will:

Ideally 4 years' experience in Digital Marketing with focus on SEO
Experience managing at least one other team member
Excellent written & verbal communication
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, hardworking & dedicated to getting the job done properly
Knowledge of the automotive industry (beneficial)
Knowledge of Google Analytics (required)
