SEO Strategist Role & Responsibilities As SEO Strategist you will work in a strategy focused role, creating long and short-term SEO strategy for a variety of clients and coordinating with the wider SEO team. Additionally, your role will involve: Onboarding clients helping to understand their business priorities and to create an effective SEO strategy. Conducting keyword research to create lists of high-quality keywords for the content and SEO team. Working with the technical SEO team, to create a technical SEO optimisation plan. Create in-depth 6 – 12-month strategic SEO roadmaps that meet client goals. Produce detailed content briefs for the content team. Measuring, analysis, and reporting of the SEO performance across the multiple SEO campaigns and clients that fall under your remit. Working with relevant teams (Content and Data), to deliver comprehensive SEO campaigns.
Your Skills & Experience You will have a personal, dedicated training budget alongside the agency’s mentorship scheme, to ensure you continue to progress in your SEO career. The business does, however, ask that you have: 2+ years of SEO experience in an agency setting. Demonstrable experience of owning the SEO strategy of client accounts. Experience in owning client management and relationship building. Experience with a variety of SEO tools. SEO skills across both technical and content. Experience in conducting technical SEO audits.
