Server/Networking/Infrastructure Technician

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a

Server/Network/Infrastructure

Technician to work with a public sector organisation on a contract basis. The position will be based in Edinburgh with office visits 1-2 days / week.

The role:
BAU duties
3rd line infrastructure support
Ensure Windows Platform operating correctly
Managing multi-site physical/virtual server environment
Cloud/Telephony migration - BT Cloud works
Line management of a team of 2 people
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Experience of managing multi-site physical/virtual server environment
Strong RDS (Remote Desktop Services) Windows experience - this is essential
Windows Platform - M365 Management
Servers
Hardware
Networks - client use CISCO Meraki
Cloud/Telephony migration experience would be advantageous

The details:
3 month initial contract
Outside IR35 daily rate negotiable DOE
Edinburgh/surrounds

based: 1-2 days a week in the Edinburgh Office
