Salary: Up to £27,000

Are you an experienced Service Advisor with a interest for machinery and a passion for giving top customer service? Our client is a leading supplier of Agricultural, Groundcare, and Construction machinery in Central Scotland, and they have an exciting opportunity for you to join their busy team in Lanark!

We're looking for a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. If you have strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, you'll be a perfect fit to help support our large Service Department.

What they offer

• £26,000 - £27,000
• 8am - 4pm - 1 hour paid lunch
• 39 hours per week

What we're looking for:

• Essential experience as a Service Advisor within the motor industry, or a proven background in a service, maintenance, or repair environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ensuring all technical documentation is current and accessible to the workshop team
• Providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, assisting with technical issues and diagnosis.
• Be able to Identify and communicate supplementary parts required for repairs.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates on repair progress, delays, and additional work required.
• Processing job cards, orders, invoices, and handling payments with precision.
• Handling customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Technical Knowledge: While not essential, a technical understanding of machinery is highly desirable.
