Job Description - Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable family-run service centre in Redhill, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a proven background in automotive customer service to progress their career within a well-established motor trade environment. The Customer Service Advisor will play a vital role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

To warmly greet customers, establishing a positive rapport.
Efficiently handle customer inquiries and accurately record vehicle service and repair requirements.
Schedule service appointments effectively to balance workload and customer expectations.
Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on vehicle progress.
Use automotive service management software for booking, updates, and record-keeping
Collaborate with technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs
Promptly address any customer concerns, maintaining high service standards expected.
The Customer Service Advisor should uphold professionalism in appearance and conduct, reflecting the company’s values.Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Customer Service Advisor in the automotive sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary
Proficiency with automotive service management software and general computer skills.
Ability to work well within a team as a Customer Service Advisor and independently when required.
A genuine passion for the automotive industry, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Knowledge of current automotive industry developments is desirable.
