My client, a well-established and independent residential block management firm based in Hendon, are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their team.

You will be working alongside a team of three Client Accountants managing the full service charge accounting processes of the company portfolio of 120 properties across prime central London locations.

Duties:

• Preparation of draft budgets
• Preparation of year end accounting packages for accountants
• Dealing with accountant's queries and general accounting queries from peers
• Reviewing service charge accounts
• Assistance with new block set-up & handovers
• Producing quarterly actual v budget reports
• Producing ad-hoc reports when required
• Assistance with all other functions as and when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' service charge accounts experience
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail & accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office, Tramps / Block Online experience advantageous not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A friendly and polite approach with a positive attitude

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 1 day WFH / week after 6 month probation
Other details: 20 days holiday per annum, study support towards ACCA or AAT qualifications
