As a Service Charge Accountant, you'll play a key role in the financial management of a diverse residential portfolio. You will be responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of service charge accounts, while collaborating closely with property managers and clients to ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial reporting.

• Preparation of annual service charge budgets and reconciliations

• Variance analysis and reporting to property managers and clients

• Managing client bank accounts and maintaining audit trails

• Liaising with auditors to complete year-end service charge accounts

• Ensuring compliance with RICS and ARMA guidelines

• Supporting the implementation of best practices in service charge accounting

• Strong experience in residential service charge accounting

• Proficient user of QUBE property management software (essential)

• Either qualified by experience (QBE) or currently studying / looking to study AAT, ACCA, or CIMA

• Strong understanding of leaseholder reporting requirements and industry compliance

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Proactive and team-oriented, with a strong eye for detail
