Job Description - Service Coordinator

Job Opportunity: Appliance and Service Coordinator
Location: Oxford
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours/week (Monday to Friday) in Office

Reed have exclusively partnered with the UK’s leading high-end designer of kitchen-living spaces. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Appliance and Service Coordinator to join the service division. Customer service is the key to this role as you, you’ll be the linchpin in managing appliance orders, coordinating service requests, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, technicians, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities as a Service Coordinator

  • Receive and process service requests via phone, email, or other channels
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians
  • Communicate updates and resolve customer queries
  • Coordinate with the Operations Director and Project Managers to ensure availability of resources and timely completion of service tasks
  • Maintain accurate service records and logs
  • Monitor appliance orders and manage stock, deliveries, and returns
  • Liaise with appliance reps and update internal teams on stock and pricing
  • Book and manage servicing, spare part orders, and training logistics
  • Booking in and managing travel, accommodation requests, product requests and training.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in customer service, scheduling, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM/ticketing systems (Zoho preferred)
  • Familiarity with kitchens, furniture, or appliances is a plus
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
