Job Description - Service Coordinator

The Service Coordinator will play a key role in managing schedules, coordinating client requests, and supporting the team to ensure seamless service delivery. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail within the business services industry.

Description

  • Coordinate and manage service schedules to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and requests.
  • Support the team by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Monitor and track service progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline service processes.
  • Assist in preparing reports and updates for management as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to service coordination and client communication.
  • The role demands an organized, communicative, and proactive individual. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Handling daily queries from engineers and customers via phone, email, and internal referrals

  • Managing our CRM database, ensuring accurate records in line with GDPR compliance

  • Scheduling work for engineers and overseeing progress from start to completion

  • Booking Service visits and call outs

  • Preparing quotations, liaising with customers to understand their needs, completing RAMS, and following up on engineer reports and outstanding quotes

Profile

A successful Service Coordinator should have:

  • Strong rapport-building skills with customers, engineers, suppliers, and third parties
  • Resilience, determination, and ability to work to deadlines
  • Prior experience in scheduling work and managing changes as necessary
  • Exceptional telephone communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Experience raising, sending and following up on quotations is an advantage
  • Flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks for yourself and others
  • High attention to detail and a focus on completing tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Experience within the construction, utilities, or trade sectors is desira
