Job title: Service Coordinator Location: Heanor, Nottingham Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a busy and well-established service operation based in Nottingham. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping the service operation running smoothly, coordinating a team of field-based engineers and ensuring customer requirements are managed efficiently. You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling engineers, managing customer communications and making sure jobs are completed as smoothly and effectively as possible. This is a fast-paced, varied role where strong organisation, communication and customer service skills are essential. The position would suit someone with previous experience in service coordination, engineer scheduling, service administration or a similar customer-focused environment.
An immediate start is ideally required, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Coordinator looking for their next move.
Daily responsibilities: Coordinating and scheduling field-based service engineers Managing engineer diaries and allocating jobs efficiently Liaising with customers to arrange and confirm service visits Handling customer queries and keeping customers updated on job progress Coordinating breakdowns, servicing and maintenance requirements Communicating with engineers throughout the day to ensure jobs are completed efficiently Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring work is followed up Working closely with the Service Manager, Parts Advisor and Parts Assistant Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate service records Ensuring customers receive a high level of service at all times Supporting the wider service team with general administration and coordination Experience you will need: Previous experience in service coordination, service administration, engineer scheduling or a similar role Experience dealing directly with customers Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Confident coordinating engineers or mobile/field-based staff Good attention to detail and administration skills Comfortable working to deadlines and reacting to changing priorities A proactive and customer-focused approach Experience within a technical, engineering, plant, automotive, forklift or similar service environment would be advantageous Package: Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40hrs) Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Location: Heanor Start date: Immediate start ideally required Company pension scheme Life assurance Health cash plan Increasing holiday entitlement with length of service Employee benefits hub Employee referral scheme Long-service recognition programme Training and career development opportunities
