Bench IT requires an experienced Service Deliver Manager / Lead , to manage the day-to-day running of a Data Centre environment. The SDM will lead and develop a team, ensure services are delivered against SLAs, and apply ITIL best practice across service and change management. The role covers full project life cycle management, financial and operational reporting, and hands-on knowledge of Data Centre technologies and telecoms cabling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

* Leading, managing, and developing a team within a Data Centre environment

* Ensuring service delivery meets contractual and SLA requirements

* Managing projects through the full life cycle

* Applying ITIL processes for service measurement and change management

* Producing financial and operational reports, including trend analysis

* Supporting telecommunications infrastructure cabling and Data Centre technologies

* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners

* Maintaining high standards of governance within a regulated environment

Required Skills & Experience

* Demonstrable experience in staff leadership and people management

* Experience managing projects across the full life cycle

* Proven experience working within a Data Centre environment

* Strong Service Delivery Management experience

* Experience working in banking or other highly regulated environments

* Strong understanding of Data Centre technologies, terminology, and BAU support

* Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, service measurement, and change management

* Experience supporting office and/or data centre environments

* Experience producing financial and operational reports, including analysis

* Experience in delivering services to contractual requirements

* Strong people management, leadership, and team development capability

* Able to manage high workloads and work under pressure

* Extensive experience with telecommunications infrastructure cabling

* Good understanding of industry processes, tools, systems, and partners

* Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project tools

* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

* ITIL certification

* PRINCE2 certification

* BICSi certification
