The Opportunity
Are you an experienced facilities or maintenance professional with a passion for service excellence, innovation, and leadership? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Delivery Manager to join a leading estate operations team responsible for a significant and complex property portfolio in the heart of London.
This pivotal role ensures the smooth and effective delivery of maintenance services, leading performance-driven strategies across helpdesk operations, service provider coordination, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate reporting systems and business data to support efficient service delivery across Maintenance Operations.
- Act as the central point for internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and clarity of messaging.
- Maximise the effectiveness of service providers through structured coordination and performance monitoring.
- Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure timely, data-driven performance reporting aligned with KPIs and SLAs.
- Lead and develop a team of service delivery professionals and technical coordinators, encouraging continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory legislation, health & safety standards, and internal processes.
- Oversee operational delivery, including procurement and project support, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
About You
You’ll be a proactive, solutions-focused leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Membership in a recognised professional institution.
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH).
- BIFM/ILM Level 3 or equivalent management experience.
- A background in Facilities Management, with experience in large-scale estates or complex environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to manage teams and develop high-performing individuals.
- Commercial acumen, with experience in procurement and contract performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in high-pressure environments.
