Job Description - Service Desk Administrator

Pineapple Careers is proud to be supporting a fantastic organisation based near Horsham, who is looking to recruit a Service Desk Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis. Are you organised and detail-oriented? Do you enjoy working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate repair documentation to ensure correct invoicing
  • Process incoming customer documentation accurately and promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records using the in-house management system
  • Handle incoming customer enquiries, both over the phone and via email
  • Provide support to the Service Manager and Service Desk Manager
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring correct authorisation and allocation
  • Resolve purchase invoice queries within set timeframes
  • Ensure compliance certificates and documentation are processed correctly
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Maintain regular attendance and communicate clearly and professionally at all times
  • Support the wider service team with day-to-day scheduling and operational tasks
  • Take a proactive, problem-solving approach to daily responsibilities
  • Contribute positively to the team environment and wider business goals

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the hire or service industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and hire/service management systems
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
  • A collaborative team player with a desire to learn and grow

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30,000 depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
  • Friendly and supportive team culture

  • Based near Horsham
