Job Description - Service Desk Engineer

1st / 2ndLine Engineer

£25,000 - £30,000

Bonus, Pension, Healthcare

Hertfordshire - with working from home

An Award Winning client of ours based in Hertfordshire are looking to hire a 1st/2nd Line Engineer, an established business in the area who have a very clear path for progression and development.

This 1st/2nd Line Engineer role would be ideal for someone who is looking to work for a company that will focus on your development and who are big champions of internal growth. From day 1 the company will look to help you with Microsoft Certifications and help you with the funding that goes with this.

A key thing the Manager will look for is the right attitude, someone who is passionate about IT, enjoys working in a team environment and providing a high level of customer service.

It is important in this 1st/2nd Line Engineer role that you have experience covering a variety of tools like Office365, Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Exchange, VMware etc.

You should also have great communication skills, organisation skills, multitasking & problem-solving skills & have a desire to learn.

Technical experience needed in this 1st/2nd Line Engineer Role:

  • Experience within a 1st/2nd line role.

  • Experience working and troubleshooting issues across Office 365, SharePoint, VMware, Azure AD.

  • Experience working with Windows.

  • Any experience working with Hyper-V, DNS or DHCP, VOIP would be great.
