Role Outline


We are looking for customer-focused and enthusiastic Microsoft 365 specialist to join our Team.
The Service Desk Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to user enquiries, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
The Service Desk Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional, and effective IT support.



Days / Hours required


Friday - Sunday (7am - 7pm)



What you will need to succeed


For this role we are looking for someone with previous experience in an IT Solution Provider or MSP environment. You will need in-depth knowledge, troubleshooting and the hunger to learn and progress.



• A positive attitude to problem ownership and resolution.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• You will need excellent client service skills, be able to deal effectively with time-sensitive issues.




Required Skills


• At least one of the following qualifications AZ-104 & MS-102. Coupled with the desire to achieve further accreditation.
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience supporting, and working with, the following Microsoft 365 components:



Active Directory. Exchange Online. Office 365 & applications. Autopilot. Intune. Endpoint Manager. Conditional Access. Multi Factor Authentication. Privileged Identity Management. Azure Information Protection. Defender for Endpoint. Azure Networking & Firewalls. Azure Storage. PowerShell scripting. Azure Virtual Desktop.



• Knowledge and experience working with and supporting Windows 10/11 and Apple Operating Systems
• The ability to ask questions to speedily identify and diagnose issues
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical guides, documentation, and change requests
