Service Dispatcher required in Cardiff.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Service Dispatcher for our client's storage and retrieval system business in Cardiff.

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join our Service team as a key point of contact for both customers and engineers. In this role, you will handle the majority of incoming calls, manage the Aftercare inbox, and ensure all enquiries and requests are responded to promptly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for raising and dispatching Work Orders to the correct engineers, maintaining accurate customer contact records, and keeping clients updated throughout the service process.

You will also manage the technician schedule board, coordinate service visits, track engineer progress, and escalate issues to the Service Manager when necessary. In addition, you’ll help produce and follow up on service quotes, gather customer feedback post-visit, and ensure all relevant documentation is in place before engineer attendance. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced service environment.

The experience required for this role can vary, but due to our clients personal work history background, they are very keen to speak with Automotive Service Advisors who are looking to move away from dealership life, and into a slightly different sector, whilst still utilising many transferable automotive skills.
