Service Engineer

A really good Field Service Engineer role covering the UK for a market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry. Home based, you will be ideally be living in Northern England & ideally on the M62 corridor although we will consider anyone living north of Birmingham.

BASIC SALARY: up to £45,000

BENEFITS:
· Overtime and Bonus to earn up to £60,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Hull, Lincoln

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery / PPMA

This is a classic Field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation & commissioning (as well as generating after sales revenue where applicable) of a range of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry.

You will be expected to stay away from home 2 to 3 nights per week on average and will work weekends circa once per month.

Overtime is paid door to door.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery / PPMA

· You MUST have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with specific experience of working within the food industry ideally having worked with packaging machinery.
· The company WILL also consider experienced food industry factory Maintenance Engineers with hands on experience of working upon packaging machinery.
· You MUST be a qualified Electrical & Electronic or multi skilled Engineer.
