This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to be involved in full-coverage installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced food production machinery. Key Responsibilities · Installation, servicing, and maintenance of machinery across various food production sites. · Working with pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, pulleys, chains, bearings, shafts, motors, and gearboxes. · Networking: running ethernet cables, change IO cards and IP address · Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams to work with 415V three-phase systems, servo drives, analog inputs, frequency converters, amplifiers, inverters, and motors. · PLC fault-finding and full networking within HMI systems. · Travel: Regular travel with an average of 3 nights away per week (accommodation in hotels provided). · Daily site visits: Typically 1 per day. · Some form of engineering qualification (preferably apprentice trained) · Experience working with factory machinery or industrial maintenance. · Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and gearboxes · Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and PLC fault-finding · Previous experience in field service or maintenance engineering is preferred. · Capital equipment background Benefits & Package · Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (OTE £70,000) · Pension: 14% matched · Health Scheme · Company Laptop & Phone · Company Car(Currently under review) · 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays · Training & Development Program About the Company My clientis a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing and servicing of high-quality food processing and packaging machinery.
