This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery at customer sites, playing a key part in keeping production lines running efficiently. Pay: £34,000O per annum / CTE £43,000 to £48,000 (Dependent on experience) Overtime paid as per the below: Time and a Third (1.33) Between 05:00 to 08:00 and 16:30 to 18:30 in the week and Saturday Time and a Eith (1.8) Anytime after 18:30pm and a Sunday Working Hours: Between 08:00 to 18:00 (to suit business requirements) Weekend work may be required when travelling to different sites The Role: Install production machinery at customer sites Assemble mechanical components (frames, belts, rollers, motors) Assist with PLC setup and system configuration Test and commission equipment to ensure it operates correctly Perform scheduled inspections and servicing Lubricate moving parts, check belt tension and alignment Ensure compliance with safety standards Diagnose and repair breakdowns quickly Troubleshoot faults (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic) Complete service reports and maintenance logs Record parts used, faults found, and actions taken Provide feedback to design or production teams on recurring issue Communicate with clients on-site Explain faults, repairs, and maintenance requirement Offer advice on improving system performance or reliability Ensure machinery meets regulations Work safely at height or in confined spaces when required The Person: Ability to fix faults and solve problems quickly Able to read technical drawings Strong problem-solving ability Good attention to detail Hands on and practical mindset Willing to travel Ability to work as part of a team Benefits: All travel costs paid for (you will be provided with a company card) Company Vehicle (for both business and personal use, terms apply) A flexible business with great understanding Clean working environment Working for a family run business with that personal touch Competitive salary and overtime Pension scheme.
