JOB SPECIFICATION Part Time Installation, Service and Repair Engineer Andersen Sterilisers are a Clacton based company handling the distribution of medical device sterilisers throughout UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa. Our customers are typically in the veterinary, hospital, medical device, and laboratory sector. The products are supported with a full range of laboratory services as well as comprehensive servicing and repair capability. The company is ISO13485 certified. We have an excellent opportunity in our Services Team for a Service engineer who is looking to build on their experience to date working as part of an evolving team Purpose of the Role The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our service, repair and installation tasks, responding to emergency repair needs. This role requires a proactive approach to prevent disruptions to customer activities and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Key Accountability The engineer will ensure that we meet the requirements set out in our Quality Management System while ensuring that health and safety is a priority. Ensure that documentation (service reports etc) are completed and stored in the appropriate area within the QMS and available for audit inspection. -
Repairing Anprolene/EOGas sterilisers and purge probes both in-house and on-site -
Annual servicing of Anprolene and EOGas Sterilisers in UK and Ireland -
Installation of sterilisers in UK and Ireland Servicing and inspections of buildings and grounds are completed on time. Carries out ad hoc repairs and basic decorating, prioritising tasks that keep the business running efficiently.
Role Specific Attributes Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field within a commercial environment. Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond to emergencies. Experience of maintenance repairs, such as electrical, and plumbing. To have an understanding of Quality Standards such as ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001 or other applicable standards, working with a Quality Management System. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks performed and parts used. An understanding of risk assessments and how to create them. A positive outlook with a can do attitude The successful applicant will receive full training, including shadowing another engineer.
