The Role:

They are seeking an experienced and flexible Service Manager to lead and coordinate services in Aberdeen. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee service delivery, and ensure the highest standards of support for children, young people, and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage service delivery to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
• Develop and implement strategic plans in response to identified needs and trends.
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities, health boards, and other stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, secure external funding, and oversee quality assurance.
• Inspire and support staff, ensuring professional development and performance excellence.

About You:

You are a confident and proactive leader with:

• A degree or diploma in Social Work (or equivalent) and significant experience in child and family services.
• Strong managerial experience, including staff supervision, performance management, and quality assurance.
• Expertise in budget management, service planning, and securing funding.
• A deep understanding of safeguarding and best practices in childcare services.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to influence and lead within a multi-agency setting.
