Job Description - Service Manager - Urgent

We are in search of an analytical Service Manager to join our dedicated team at SSE PLC in Belfast, County Antrim.

About the Role

Base Location: Belfast (BT23 6BL)

Salary: £42,500 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

What is the Role?

Our Service Manager will look after the day-to-day operational delivery of planned and response maintenance programme. In this role you will:

- take responsibility for the management and delivery of planned and responsive work for external client and private customers

- manage all operational employees allocated to the above

- work with our other Service Manager and the Administration Manager to ensure delivery of all associated KPIs within the above contracts

- supervise all Gas Engineers assigned to the external client contract including absence management, productivity and training

- provide technical support and management of both subcontractors and in-house resources for delivery of these projects

- work with the H&S and Quality Manager to deliver Health and Safety and Quality audits in line with integrated management system accreditations

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- experience as a qualified plumber with Gas Safe registration

- good IT and Excel skills

- a track record of meeting KPI’s / SLA’s

- experience of managing subcontractors and directly employed colleagues

- excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with customers and clients at all levels
