Service Manager - Void Service

My client is seeking two experienced Service Managers to join our Voids Service. This is a key leadership role managing the delivery of maintenance works and ensuring high performance from both internal operatives and external contractors.

As a Service Manager, you'll lead teams responsible for void property maintenance, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll be accountable for managing budgets up to £2 million, setting team targets, maintaining service quality, and meeting contract obligations. You will work across geographical areas and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations.

• Manage voids, day-to-day and emergency repairs via internal and external teams.

• Monitor performance and budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt resolution of enquiries and complaints.

• Uphold health and safety standards and relevant legislation.

• Provide strategic leadership, mentoring and development for operational staff.

You will have:

• Strong experience managing both contractors and in-house maintenance teams.

• Proven ability to control budgets, meet deadlines, and manage complex repair projects.

• An understanding of building regulations, health & safety, and housing legislation.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.

• Ideally, an HNC in Building Studies or equivalent experience.
