We have a truly exceptional opportunity for a driven Service Operations Manager Engineer to join international business based in Dublin, United Kingdom. Our client has a global reach from a dedicated team in Dublin, United Kingdom down to exclusive partnerships across the globe.

Main Responsibilities for the successful Service Operations Manager:

As Service Operations Manager you play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the service operation team and you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of proactive, secure, and efficient IT services, aligning with our core values and business goals.

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective management and execution of IT support, cybersecurity, cloud management services and the project team.
  • Development and optimisation of operational processes and technology roadmaps.
  • Direct leadership of the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and education while prioritising client satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities, streamlining workflows and processes for peak efficiency.
  • Engage with clients to ensure high service standards.
  • Uphold strict adherence to SLAs and drive quality in service delivery.
  • Address performance and financial matters as they arise.
  • Interact with cross-departmental teams, external vendors, and clients to maintain seamless operations.

Main requirements for the successful Service Operations Manager:

  • Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably in IT services.
  • An empathetic leader who understands clients’ needs and has 3+ years of experience in operational management, including leading teams of 5+.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and financial principles applicable to service delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute long-term objectives with the ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic business environment.
