Service Supervisor

Personnel Selection are pleased to be working alongside this fantast SME Engineering business, with a depot in Rotherham. We are recruiting for a Service Supervisor on a permanent and full time basis. 

Package:

Salary up to £42k (dependent on experience)

The ideal person has a strong mechanical background (hydraulics, diesel engines, plant or similar) and proven experience in the service and repair of industrial or plant equipment. You must have a full driving license, as there will be some off-site work involved. 

We are looking for someone who is committed to providing their customers with an excellent service, so the ability to communicate effectively is required. 

This could be a great opportunity for someone with some experience in a supervisory / team leader role, looking for the opportunity to advance their career. 

The role will include:

Carry out service, repair, fault finding, and refurbishment of hire fleet equipment
Prepare and inspect units before and after hire, ensuring reliability and safety
Lead by example in the workshop, setting the standard for quality of work and productivity
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and engine-related faults
